Windows Vista Hidden Boot Screen
Hidden Vista Boot Screen
What is the Windows Vista Boot Screen?
When you switch on your computer it goes through a process called "booting" (booting up).
A boot "sequence" is the initial set of operations that the computer performs when it is switched on and includes the "loading" of the main operating system for the computer.
During this booting process nothing very exciting appears on the screen... just some text.
So Microsoft has designed a way for an image to be displayed whilst the computer is booting up.
This is known as the boot screen...
On Windows Vista the boot screen looks like this:

...BUT did you know that there is a hidden Vista boot screen?
How to Find the Hidden Windows Vista Boot Screen?
Microsoft loves the look and feel of "Aurora" in Windows Vista. In fact they actually "hide" an amazing Aurora boot screen that can easily be enabled.

Enabling this hidden vista boot screen is easy:
Step #1 - Type msconfig into the Start Menu search box, and press ENTER on the keyboard.
Step #2 - In the System Configuration window select the Boot tab. Now click the box marked No GUI Boot and hit the Apply button.
Step #3 - Choose OK and the windows will close and a new one open. Select Exit without restart. The next time you reboot your computer you will see the "hidden" Aurora boot screen!

Now you will see the hidden vista boot screen
every time you start your PC.
